Terms of Service

Effective date: 22 August 2026 · Applies to all purchases and use of Template Selection services.

1. About these terms

These terms of service govern your use of the Template Selection service operated from Australia (Victoria) at templateselection.com. By requesting a quote or purchasing a bundle, you agree to these terms.

2. Service description

Template Selection provides a quote-based digital template curation service. We assemble curated bundles of HTML5 templates from a library of 200+ layouts, matched to each client's project brief, and deliver them as instant .zip downloads via email after payment.

3. Quote and order process

Fixed tiers are advertised on the pricing page in USD: Micro ($5, 1 single-page template), Starter ($20, 25-template starter pack), Basic ($30, 30-template pack), Growth ($35, 40-template library), Studio ($40, full 40-template Studio Bundle with priority delivery), Pro ($50, 1 premium template with priority support). Custom Bundles are quoted per project from $5 to $500+ USD depending on template count and scope. You submit a project brief for a custom bundle and we reply with a proposed mix and a fixed quote within 24 hours during Australian business days. A quote is a proposal and is not binding until you accept it and complete payment.

4. Payment and currency

All payments are processed by Square (Block, Inc.), a global card processor. We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Payment is due in full at time of purchase - we do not offer instalment or credit terms.

Currency: Prices are displayed on the site in United States Dollars (USD) for reference. Because we are an Australian merchant, all transactions are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD) via our Square merchant account. Your AUD charge is calculated as the USD sticker price multiplied by our published conversion rate of approximately 1 USD = 1.55 AUD, then rounded to the nearest clean AUD amount. Your bank will convert the AUD charge back to your local currency at their own applicable rate, which may include a foreign exchange fee. The final USD-equivalent amount on your statement may differ slightly from the sticker price due to your bank's own conversion. Every checkout page clearly shows the exact AUD amount to be charged before you click "Pay".

5. Delivery

Upon successful payment, a personalised download link is emailed to the address you provided at checkout. Delivery typically occurs within 60 seconds. The download link:

Is valid for 7 days from issue
May be used up to 3 times
Points to a single .zip file containing all templates in your bundle

If your link expires or is exhausted within 30 days of the original purchase, reply to your delivery email and we will issue a fresh link free of charge.

6. Licence and permitted use

All templates in delivered bundles are provided under a commercial-use licence. You may:

Modify the templates freely
Use them in paid client projects, unlimited number of projects
Deploy the resulting websites to any hosting provider
Keep the templates indefinitely for reuse across your work

7. Prohibited use

You may not:

Redistribute or resell individual templates as standalone products
Sublicense the templates to third parties for their own template libraries
Claim authorship of the underlying template designs
Use the templates to build sites hosting illegal content, malware, phishing, adult content involving minors, or content that violates intellectual property law

Selling a finished custom website you built from a template to your own end client is expressly permitted.

8. Refunds

See our Refund Policy. In summary: 14-day refund guarantee on all bundle purchases, refunds processed to your original payment method within 5 business days.

9. Support

Support is provided by email only, from support@templateselection.com, with typical response within 1 business day. We do not offer phone support, live chat, ticketing dashboards, or account portals - all communication is via email thread.

10. Limitation of liability

Template Selection provides the templates "as is" without warranty of fitness for any particular purpose beyond general web use. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the bundle in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

11. Intellectual property

Templates in our bundles originate from a curated library of licensed HTML5 templates. Where third-party licences apply to individual templates, those licences are respected and passed through to the buyer. The Template Selection name, logo, and website content are our intellectual property.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "effective date" at the top reflects the current version. Material changes affecting existing customers will be communicated by email where technically feasible. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute arising from these terms or the service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
